"Reese's Crispy Crunchy Bar" AKA Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar!

What's this blob of chocolate?
So I've done the peanut butter cups, and it was due time to attempt Reese's Crispy Crunchy Bar.
"A middle section made of flaky peanut butter, a layer of peanut butter, (and) is covered with chopped peanuts and then coated with milk chocolate"

I have no idea how one would go about making "flaky peanut butter" so I decided that a peanut butter wafer would do just fine.

I veganised the first (and only) peanut butter wafer recipe I could find, using a mix of half oats and half gluten free flour, and mixing in PB2 and peanut butter instead of whole peanuts.

I sandwiched two with peanut butter, then spread with more peanut butter and roasted peanuts before rolling the whole thing in dark chocolate.

It needs a lot of tweaking (I think a mix similar to the pb cups filling would work better than just straight pb) but I'm pretty happy with my first attempt!

Christmas Tree CupCakes

Don't worry! That's not just a big pile of frosting!

I wanted to make a soft serve cupcake, but I just couldn't do what everybody else does! I seriously have issues.
So after I had cooked my one lonely cupcake (this was practice, don't quite need a dozen Christmas trees yet!) I turned the cone upside down, rolled the collar in dark chocolate, whipped up some vegan buttercream frosting and....

Nearly Cried! Where was my big star piping nozzle?!?!
Okay I found it after much kitchen dishevel. In the cling wrap draw. (men, really)

The baubles and star are made out of marzipan. I would love to use those cute little cachous but they have gelatin! grr. I think when I make some for chrissy I'll make different coloured balls and pipe thin lines around for tinsel, and make the icing more green! I ran out of colour (It takes a lot!)

What's everyone else doing to get ready for Chirstmas?
To be honest I never do my shopping or even start thinking about it till mid December. But it's fun sometimes to get into the spirit! Okay, more like it's fun to have an excuse to bake.
